The creation of a society in which all its members have opportunities to develop their abilities and potential, being able to recognize and act as citizens, is related to the participation and effort of everybody. Showing that one has conscience of their social responsibility, CBA contributes in a direct manner to reach this ideal, supporting various cultural activities and investing in the construction and maintenance of schools, health centers, sport gymnasiums, pools and leisure centers.
At its plant, in Alumínio, SP, the Company develops the Family Project, a group of activities, including presentations and theatrical plays which include domestic matters, such as family planning, drugs, education of children, etc., focused on the collaborators and their families.
The plant workers have, also, the opportunity of participating in the Men’s Choir and the CBA Theater Group, that perform in many of the internal events of the Company. The Infant-Juvenile Choir, a Company’s initiative aimed at discovering new talents, is formed by the children of the employees.
