To start the implementation works of the new unit in Miraí, CBA has obtained the Installation Permit filed at State Environment Foundation (Fundação Estadual de Meio Ambiente - Feam). In order to obtain this permit, the company pledges to take a number of measures to prevent damages to nature and minimizing the impact to the region communities, in addition to recover the miming areas.

The majority of the measures is permanent, such as the surface water quality monitoring and the environmental education activities with the community. Other actions have already been finished, such as, for example, fauna and flora species collection for reintroducing them in the protected areas and archeological diagnosis.
