CBA industrial complex, located in the municipality of Alumínio, SP, is constantly seeking the update of its already modern operating methodologies, so as to follow both local and international regulations concerning the right balance between industrial activity and the environment.

The Company has and puts in practice, routinely, rigid environmental regulations. It uses the most advanced anti-pollution equipment and technology in all the sectors that comprise its metallurgical and production line structure. Additionally, it extends its policies and initiatives to the fields of ecological awareness and environmental education of its employees, family and communities in a general manner.

CBA permanently invests in projects destined to the treatment of effluents, atmospheric pollutants and solid waste, with the supervision and approval of the most important and representative official entities of environmental control.

All locations where there are ongoing industrial activities perform dry and humid treatment of gases, based on the most recent technologies available, to control the amount of pollutant emission to the atmosphere.

Apart from monitoring the level of the industrial effluents on an uninterrupted basis the Company maintains its own system to treat, reuse and isolate all the water used in the different and successive production steps (with a closed circuit for industrial water).
